First day of chemo

Got up this morning at 6:30 to be at hospital for 9:00 a.m . app. at the clinic Mag told me she reached for the alarm clock and her port had twisted, (it's in her right upper chest, under the skin) and she pushed it back, just when she was getting over the pain of it being put in!
Saw the doctor and he confirmed it soooo we had to go back to the hospital and have it turned over, just her luck she had breakfast and couldn't have a anesthetic so they did it with a local, it hurt. That over we went back to the clinic got hooked up no problems, turns out our treatment only lasts an hour, some are there for 8 or more ! thats a good thing ! Home now drinking LOT"S of fluids not feeling to bad ..........

  1. Sorry I am learning how to post thats why the blog dates are inverted

  2. Congrats on your new blog!!! Good job!
Glad to hear Maggies chemo is no longer then an hour, thats a blessing. I keep her in my prayers.
There's lots of in's and out's to learn on blogging, my only suggestion is to make you text a little larger..these old eyes struggle to read small print! To change or add anything go to your dashboard then choose layout or settings.
    I'm your first official follower!!!

  3. And I'm your second follower! So, happy to see you here Bob...now I can get updates often and keep in contact.
Praying for Maggie and you of course.

  4. Praying for you guys. So glad you're one of us. Not sure that's a compliment but there you are. :) Love you guys.
